A 17-year-old girl became a quadriplegic as a result of a single vehicle auto accident.  Two insurance companies were arguing as to which one was responsible for the payment of her benefits, with neither company paying anything.  Attorney Willoughby filed suit against the two companies and as a result was able to obtain no-fault benefits for his client in an amount in excess of $300,000 at that time with benefit payments continuing into the future.  As of 2012, the client had received more than $2,000,000 in total benefits.

A 71-year-old gentleman slipped and fell while getting out of his truck, suffering a severely fractured ankle.  The insurance company initially denied the claim.  Attorney Willoughby was able to obtain benefit payments from his no-fault ensurer in the amount of approximately $150,000 in benefits including payment of medical expenses, care provided to him by his wife, mileage reimbursement, and replacement services.
